I get some comments which people tell me “Inklings/octolings can’t swim” after they watched this video. So I was wondering if I could share my thoughts here!
Their skin has a high osmotic pressure, which allows water flow into their body easily. If they fall into the water, their ink will rapidly dilute and as a result they can’t survive.
So I made up a special pool and it’s called an “inkpool” (0:42)
The concentration of the pool has been adjusted so that they can swim comfortably.
I’m sure you all want to see them swimming too!
